Frequently asked questions

My purchase did not show up.

Open the Trading Post and tap Restore purchases at the bottom. If it still does not appear, force quit the app, reopen it, and make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account used for the purchase.

Do I own a world forever once I buy it?

Yes. Every world unlock is a one time purchase tied to your Apple Account. It never expires, and you can restore it on any device you sign in to.

Can I finish the game without paying?

Yes. Eleven worlds and the daily puzzle are free, which is more than a thousand levels. Purchases add optional worlds and coins, and they are never required to finish what you already have.

How do the daily puzzle and streaks work?

A new puzzle arrives each day. Solving it keeps your streak alive, and you earn a Rest Day at a three day streak so one missed morning does not undo your progress.

How do friend codes work?

Tap Invite Friends for your six character code. When a friend enters it, they receive a welcome bonus and you receive coins the next time you open the game. Codes are matched through iCloud, so both players need to be signed in to iCloud.

What are Traveler Cards?

Premium worlds award a collectible card every fifth level, twenty per world. Finish a level flawlessly and the card is gold. Completing a full set pays a grand prize.

How do I turn the music off?

Tap the music note in the top corner of the home screen. The app also follows your ring and silent switch, and it mixes under music you are already playing.

I lost my progress.

From version 1.0.1, progress follows you through iCloud: completed scenes, coins, streaks, Traveler Cards and postcards are saved to your own private iCloud storage and merged onto any device signed in with the same Apple Account. Nothing is sent to us and there is no account to create. If a device is offline, it keeps playing and catches up later. Check the small iCloud line at the bottom of the home screen to see when it last synced.

Your purchases are separate and always safe. Every world unlock is tied to your Apple Account, so open the Trading Post and tap Restore purchases and they return on any device. If your progress vanished without deleting the app, please write to us with your device model and iOS version so we can find the cause.

What are Expeditions, skins and the Weekend Sprint?

Finish every scene in a world and Expedition scenes open there: more puzzles in the same scenery for a few coins each. Skins change the look of the letter tiles and are bought with coins you earn in play. The Weekend Sprint is an optional Game Center leaderboard that runs from Friday to Sunday; join from the home screen and every scene you finish that weekend counts.
