Theme Worlds
Effective date: August 31, 2026
Theme Worlds is a word game for iPhone made by David Long. The short version: there are no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts. We do not sell or share your information with anyone.
Your progress, meaning completed levels, coins, streaks, Traveler Cards, unlocked worlds, and settings, is saved only on your iPhone. It never leaves your device, and we have no way to see it. Deleting the app deletes this data.
If you choose to invite a friend, the app stores a randomly generated six character code in our iCloud database so that referral rewards can be counted. That record contains only the two codes involved. It is not connected to your name, your email address, your Apple Account, or anything else about you, and we cannot use it to identify you. If you never use a friend code, nothing is stored.
Coin packs and world unlocks are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details, and Apple does not share them with us. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
If you choose to use the optional leaderboards and friend challenges, your scores are submitted to Game Center, which is operated by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. The app only sends a score. Your Game Center nickname and profile visibility are managed by you in your device settings. If you never sign in to Game Center, the game works exactly the same and nothing is submitted.
If you allow notifications, the app schedules a single daily reminder locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and we do not know whether you opened it.
Theme Worlds is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated and the current version will always be posted on this page.
